Terms of Use
Last updated: August 8, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Jiglume (“Jiglume” or “the app”), provided by Serhii Taikalo. Provider and contact details are in the Legal Notice.
By installing or using Jiglume, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. A parent or legal guardian should review them before allowing a child to use the app.
1. About Jiglume
Jiglume is a digital jigsaw puzzle game for phones and tablets. It provides bundled puzzle images, multiple piece counts, local puzzle progress, visual themes, and optional sound and haptic feedback.
2. Current free version
Version 1.0.0 is provided without subscriptions, in-app purchases, third-party advertising, or an account requirement. Using this version cannot create a Jiglume charge.
A future release may introduce optional paid content, subscriptions, or advertising. Any such change will be presented transparently, implemented through applicable store and consent requirements, and accompanied by updated legal and privacy information before or when required. Nothing in these Terms creates a commitment to introduce monetisation.
3. License to use the app
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Jiglume for lawful personal and family entertainment, subject to these Terms and the rules of the store from which you obtained it.
You may not:
- sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute, or commercially exploit the app or its bundled content except where applicable law permits;
- reverse engineer, decompile, circumvent technical protections, or extract source code except where applicable law expressly permits;
- remove ownership, copyright, or attribution notices; or
- use the app for an unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose.
4. Local progress and privacy
Puzzle progress and preferences are stored locally. Our Privacy Policy explains the current app’s data practices, website delivery, and support enquiries.
5. Content, AI assistance, and intellectual property
Jiglume’s software, interface, name, icon, puzzle collection, written material, and other included content are owned by us or used under applicable licenses and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Third-party software remains subject to its respective open-source or commercial licenses.
The puzzle images and app icon were created or edited with the assistance of generative AI tools and were selected and reviewed by a person before inclusion. Generation prompts were designed to avoid named artists, brands, protected characters, logos, existing artworks, and recognisable real landmarks. Jiglume does not operate an AI service while you play and does not send user information to an AI provider.
The app’s puzzle-placement sounds are original, sample-free sounds synthesised from mathematical waveforms and do not use third-party recordings. AI-assisted or synthetic content may contain visual or factual imperfections and is offered as creative puzzle artwork, not as documentary evidence of a real person, place, or event.
If you believe content in Jiglume infringes your rights, send enough detail to identify the material and explain the concern to pikalex.app@gmail.com.
6. No user uploads or social features
The current version does not let users create accounts, upload images, publish content, message other users, or participate in a public community.
7. Updates and availability
We may correct, update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features, images, languages, platform support, or the app itself. Availability may depend on device compatibility, operating-system versions, and Apple or Google distribution services. We do not promise that every feature will remain available indefinitely on every device or in every country.
8. Store terms
Apple App Store or Google Play terms also apply to downloading, installing, updating, and using Jiglume. For Apple users, these Terms supplement Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement unless another Apple-approved agreement is displayed for the app.
9. Disclaimer
We use reasonable care in providing Jiglume, but software and creative content may contain errors or may not work identically on every device. The app is provided for entertainment and is not professional, medical, therapeutic, or safety advice. Mandatory warranties and remedies provided by applicable consumer law remain unaffected.
10. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to those rights, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses, loss of locally stored progress caused by deletion, device failure, or platform backup settings, or business losses arising from personal use of the app.
11. Ending use
You may stop using Jiglume at any time and remove it and its local data from your device. We may end access where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect the app or others, or discontinue the service, subject to mandatory consumer rights.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when Jiglume, its business model, store rules, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Where required, material changes will be presented before or when they take effect.
13. Applicable rights and contact
These Terms do not limit mandatory rights available under the law of your country or region. Questions may be sent to pikalex.app@gmail.com. Postal details are in the Legal Notice.
